Max Verstappen led the Belgian GP FP1 with 1min47.070, beating Hadjar and Leclerc in a very balanced session at Spa-Francorchamps. Gabriel Bortoleto was one of the highlights of the practice, reaching fifth place with hard tires and finishing the activity in tenth position, ahead of Hülkenberg for most of the session. The practice also ended with concerns for McLaren after hydraulic problems in Oscar Piastri’s car.
