Kimi Antonelli made his prediction for the Monaco Grand Prix of Formula 1 taking place this weekend and pointed to Ferrari as the team to beat on the streets of Monte Carlo.

Mercedes has absolutely dominated the 2026 season and leaves no chance for rivals. In the five stages held so far, they have won all the races, one with George Russell and four consecutively with the Italian.
Now, the calendar reaches the most luxurious race of the championship, in the Principality. And after the Canadian GP, Antonelli was asked if the Maranello team could do well in Monaco – in Montreal, Lewis Hamilton finished second.

“I think Ferrari will be the team to beat in Monaco. It will be very interesting to see how we perform there, but certainly Ferrari is the favorite, mainly because, obviously, with that rear winglet, they get a lot of aerodynamic downforce at low speed,” he said.
“It will definitely be interesting, but I will try to do my best, put myself in the best position, and achieve the best possible result,” he added.
