Bruna Tomaselli was one of the highlights of the third stage of the NASCAR Brasil Series, held this Sunday (31) at the Interlagos Circuit. The SG28 by Pole Motorsport driver started from 22nd position and made a good recovery in Race 1, finishing second in the Challenge category and seventh in the overall classification.

“It was a great race. I found the right path from the first laps and made the biggest climb of the race. I fit well with the car, knew our potential, and the work brought the result to keep fighting for the lead,” said the driver from Santa Catarina, who made 14 overtakes.
In Race 2, however, Bruna did not have the same luck. The driver was hit by a competitor still in the initial lap and had her chances of repeating the result compromised. Her teammate, Colombian Tatiana Calderón, achieved her best result of the day in the second race by finishing tenth overall.

For SG28 CEO Carlos SG, the outcome of the stage was positive: “We overcame a complicated qualifying that left the girls at the back of the grid, but the team worked well and even with the track in rainy conditions Bruna did very well. Tata had many mechanical issues with bearings and brakes, but managed to take the car to the end of race 2 and got her best result,” he evaluated.
The next stage of the NASCAR Brasil Series will be held on June 28 at the Velocitta Circuit in Mogi Guaçu (SP).
