Young Murilo Rocha arrives at the Interlagos Racetrack this week for the third stage of NASCAR Brazil, which takes place from May 29 to 31, at a time of strong motivation after a recent experience in the United States, where he closely followed the behind the scenes of NASCAR.

A member of the Full Time team and driver of the Ford Mustang #55, Murilo participated in an agenda in the Charlotte area that included visits to teams, contact with drivers from the main category of North American motorsport, presence behind the scenes of the Coca-Cola 600 last Sunday, a visit to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and attendance at a late models race in Hickory.
The experience in the NASCAR environment reinforced the young man’s focus on his adaptation to touring cars. He arrives at the São Paulo stage in Interlagos, a circuit he knows well and where he has already won in a national championship, now seeking to turn this familiarity into results within NASCAR Brazil.

“I had a great opportunity to get to know NASCAR in the United States and that only made me more motivated for the stage in Interlagos this week. Everyone in motorsport has a notion that ‘NASCAR is huge.’ But going there to their home and experiencing it up close took my assessment to another level, including seeing the involvement of the Mobil™ brand in the category. I hope to continue evolving at the Interlagos stage, which is a track where I have already won F4 races, mainly because I am becoming more adapted to the car with each stage of NASCAR Brazil,” said Murilo Rocha.
The weekend will have a schedule starting on Friday with shakedown and two practice sessions. On Saturday there will be another free practice and qualifying. The two races of the stage will be on Sunday, with broadcasts on NASCAR Brazil’s digital channels and ESPN.
