On Friday, the day of the only free practice and the qualifying for the Sprint race, the forecast points to periods of sun between clouds, temperature around 21°C and practically no chance of rain. Saturday, reserved for the Sprint and the main qualifying, should have a cloudier sky, highs of 22°C and a 15% chance of rain.
Sunday, however, is more concerning. Rain showers are expected in the morning, with increasing cloudiness throughout the afternoon. The temperature should reach 23°C, while the probability of precipitation rises to 30%.

The history of the Canadian GP shows that the weather is usually one of the challenges of the circuit in Montreal. In 2011, the event went down in history as the longest in Formula 1, lasting 4 hours, 4 minutes and 39.537 seconds until Jenson Button’s victory. In 2022, qualifying took place on a completely wet track, while the 2024 race had variable conditions throughout the event.
Formula 1 arrives in Canada after the busy weekend at Nürburgring, where Max Verstappen lost the chance to win after facing a technical problem. Now, Montreal could mark a decisive moment in the 2026 season battle.
