Verstappen starts from fourth position on the grid with the Mercedes AMG-GT3 of the team with Red Bull livery. The race on the legendary Nordschleife promises extreme conditions, after qualifying sessions marked by rain, fog, and even light snow during the warm-up.
The Dutchman will share the car with Daniel Juncadella, Jules Gounon, and Lucas Auer. During Friday’s Top Qualifying, Verstappen took the wheel in TQ2 and helped the team advance to the fight for the front positions. Later, Juncadella secured the place on the second row of the grid.

The weekend activities showed a challenging scenario on the German circuit of more than 25 kilometers. Verstappen has already driven in dry, wet, and also at night, an important experience for a 24-hour race where the weather can change quickly.
Pole position went to the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 #84 of the Red Bull Team Abt, followed by car #130 of the same team. Verstappen’s Mercedes finished the last warm-up in ninth place before the official start.
The start of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring takes place at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Brasília time.
