In an interview with the Pitstop podcast, the Brazilian highlighted not only Hulkenberg’s speed but also his personality: “He is one of the most talented racing drivers I have ever seen in my life, and I have seen many, but unfortunately, he did not have the right car in his career to show this to the world,” he said.

Bortoleto also commented on Hulkenberg’s behavior off the track, describing the German as someone light and motivated even after years in the category: “He is older than me, but his mental age is like mine. He is very funny, likes to be around young people and have fun,” he added.

Finally, the Brazilian praised the professional attitude of his teammate, highlighting his consistency and always positive mindset: “He simply does what he has to do, gets to the track very quickly, directly, does the job and lives life. He does not complain and knows the privilege of being in Formula 1,” he concluded.
