Max Verstappen reacted to Carlos Sainz’s unfriendly radio message after the Spaniard was overtaken by the Dutchman during the early part of the Miami GP of Formula 1 that took place last Sunday (3).

The Red Bull driver fell to the middle of the pack after a pit-stop right after the safety car. Gradually, he overtook the rivals, but when he passed the Williams driver, he made an aggressive move that did not please the opponent. At the same moment, the competitor complained on the radio saying he “thinks he can do whatever he wants because he is in the midfield pack.”
When Sainz’s comment was brought to the four-time world champion after the race, Verstappen remained neutral. “I don’t know, it’s kind of a jungle in the midfield pack, so, I don’t know what to say.”

So, instead of focusing on what Carlos said, Max chose to think only about his performance, saying that Red Bull is “getting there,” although he said that the adjustments to the F1 regulations are still “not what I want to see.”
