In a post on his Instagram, Jansen shared his concerns: “The last few days have been a rollercoaster. It is terrible what is happening in the world. In the coming days and weeks, I was supposed to travel a lot through the Middle East to, among other places, Australia”. He explained that, after conversations with the organizers of the first races on the F1 calendar, he decided not to travel to the events in Australia, China and Japan: “I like certainty, and that is why we decided not to play at these races,” he said.
