NASCAR Brazil: Tito Giaffone takes podium at the Sunset Race in Cascavel

Driver representing Full Time Sports in NASCAR Brazil, Tito Giaffone, secured a podium spot at the Sunset Race that opened the second stage of the 2026 season, held this Saturday (2) at the Zilmar Beux International Circuit in Cascavel (PR). The owner of car number 15 finished third in the Challenge category after 23 minutes of racing this evening.

Tito sought to fine-tune the car during practice and also in qualifying held this afternoon with the track still wet, a condition that led to the cancellation of the Sprint Race that would have defined the first grid positions. In the night race, the driver climbed through the pack to secure third place in his class.

“The night race is a new challenge for us, but I think it was very positive, a good climb that we made. I have a competitive car, a very good car, but I still haven’t quite gotten used to the dry track. In the practice where I was supposed to get it right, it rained, and I couldn’t take advantage. But overall, I think it’s good, we ended up starting in the rain,” highlights Tito Giaffone, who is sponsored by PX.

After a hard-fought race and a podium finish, the young NASCAR Brazil revelation maintains high expectations for the main race to be held this Sunday (3).

“Tomorrow there is another race, I will start 12th, so we are further up the grid, we are third in the category. So, I think we have conditions to go after even more points this weekend,” completes the Full Time driver.

The NASCAR Brazil schedule continues this Sunday (3) with the main race starting at 9 a.m., broadcast on YouTube.
