“I almost fainted and it wasn’t even my kid!”, Hamilton stated, drawing laughter from the other drivers. He detailed the situation where he was accompanying the birth of a relative of his ex-girlfriend: “I was dating a girl and her sister was having a baby. I was out there, near the delivery room, and I could hear the screams. I almost fainted, and it wasn’t even my kid!”, he said laughing.
The conversation happened while Hamilton questioned Verstappen about the arrival of his first child, asking if he was anxious or nervous. Verstappen, also laughing, replied that maybe he would be more comfortable ‘on the other side’, while Leclerc agreed with Hamilton’s reaction, saying he would probably have the same feeling.
