The 2026 NASCAR Brasil Series season advances to its second stage with its arrival at the Zilmar Beux Racetrack, in Cascavel (PR), between May 2nd and 3rd. The event will feature a diverse program, going beyond races and including experiences aimed at the public, such as grid access, driver parade, and pit lane visits.

Activities begin on Friday (May 1st), when teams and drivers participate in the first free practice session at 2:20 PM. The following day, at 10:25 AM, the second practice takes place, followed by qualifying with a sprint race at 1:50 PM. The main attraction of the day happens in the late afternoon. The first race of the stage is scheduled for 6:00 PM and will be held in a sunset format. The transition between day and night imposes extra challenges on drivers, especially regarding visibility and temperature changes throughout the race.
The conclusion of the stage is scheduled for Sunday morning (3rd), when the second race of the weekend takes place, starting at 8:20 AM, responsible for defining the winners on Paraná soil. Known for its fast and technical layout, the circuit is considered one of the most challenging on the calendar, a factor that can directly influence the competitors’ performance:

“Cascavel is the most demanding track for tires on the current NASCAR Brasil calendar. The lateral force, especially in the Bacião corner, is the point that requires the most attention throughout the track and can be the differential during a race weekend. It’s a very fast track, where the most stressed tire will be the right rear,” explains Camila Maluf, Commercial Director of Motorsport Latam at Pirelli.
The stage will be broadcast live on SBT, ESPN, and Disney+, in addition to the exhibition of qualifiers and races on NASCAR Brasil’s official YouTube channel (@nascarbrasil). The coverage will also be followed in real-time on the category’s social media.
