The fourth round of the 2026 season marks the first time the partnership between Nubank and the German team, announced in January 2026, hits the track.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring this partnership to life, both on and off the track,” says Cristina Junqueira, Co-founder, Chief Growth Officer, and CEO of the emerging operation in the United States.

“What defines both Nu and Mercedes is the desire to never settle, to do things differently, and to push the boundaries of what’s possible. The racing suits, the film, the House of Nu in Wynwood, all reflect this shared DNA. And there’s no better stage than Miami to bring all of this to life for fans and customers,” she continued.

And for the first time, Russell and Antonelli’s racing suits will feature three distinct designs for each day of the race weekend, all in Nu’s characteristic purple, each with coordinates reflecting a chapter of the company’s expansion:

Friday’s racing suit, May 1st, features the coordinates of Casinha, Nu’s original office in São Paulo, where the company was founded in 2013;

Saturday’s racing suit, May 2nd, maps Nu’s expansion across Latin America, with coordinates referencing offices in Mexico and Colombia;

Sunday’s racing suit, May 3rd, adds the coordinates of Nu Stadium, the new Inter Miami CF stadium, as a physical representation of Nu’s arrival in the United States;

The Formula 1 Miami GP marks the resumption of the 2026 season after April had no rounds due to the cancellations in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. In addition to being the fourth round of the calendar, it is also the venue for the second Sprint of the year.
