The Istanbul Park circuit will return after five years out of F1, with a contract valid until 2031 and a fixed presence on the calendar. The return marks another recent reintroduction, following the confirmation of the return of the Portuguese GP in Portimão.
Brundle reacted on social media with few words, but made his approval clear: “Great track. Good news,” wrote the British commentator, highlighting the prestige of the circuit among drivers and fans.

The announcement has also already moved promotional activities. Yuki Tsunoda participated in a demonstration with Red Bull Racing in Istanbul, driving the RB8 model, the 2012 championship-winning car with Sebastian Vettel.
With a remarkable history since its debut in 2005, the Turkish circuit has featured iconic moments in Formula 1, including the collision between Vettel and Mark Webber in 2010 and Lewis Hamilton’s victory in 2020, which secured his seventh world title.
