The move gained attention after rumors involving other teams, including Ferrari. Even with denials, the scenario reinforces the moment of transition experienced by the main teams.
According to Marko, Red Bull has already defined who will replace Lambiase, who will only leave the team at the end of 2027. “Successful professionals are always hired by other teams. Lambiase gained a lot of visibility thanks to Max. However, they brought a replacement from Ferrari,” he stated.
The former advisor also evaluated the team’s current performance in the championship, admitting difficulties. He pointed out that the main problem is not the engine, but rather the car’s updates, which “went in the wrong direction.”

Regarding Max Verstappen, Marko highlighted the driver’s participation in endurance races and praised his performance. “It’s always impressive to see how they cut through the field,” he said, adding that he no longer maintains frequent contact with the Dutchman.
Finally, the Austrian commented on Kimi Antonelli’s current moment, the current championship leader. For Marko, the driver has evolved in consistency and now “can even compete for the title,” showing confidence in the young driver’s performance this season.
