After three rounds contested in the 2026 championship, the Maranello team reached the podium on all occasions. Charles Leclerc finished in the top-3 in both Australia and Japan, while Lewis Hamilton achieved his first podium with the team in China.
Now, Formula 1 faces more than a month-long break between Suzuka and Miami due to the cancellations of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, and Vasseur insisted that the standings could be quite different when the championship restarts in the United States.

“We are scoring points, but we know that from Miami onwards it will probably be another championship. This means we need to keep scoring good points, get on the podium, not fall too far behind Mercedes, and be very efficient in terms of the championship,” he said.
“The season will be very long because the pace of development will be intense. We don’t need to be afraid of that, we just need to score as many points as possible every weekend and continue doing a good job of development for the future,” he added.
