In his journey with the Maranello squad, the driver has achieved eight GP victories, but has not yet managed to lead the Italian team to the top in winning a title – the last one was in 2007 for drivers with Kimi Räikkönen and 2008 for Constructors.
So, when Sebastian Vettel’s words that ‘everyone is a Ferrari fan’ were mentioned to Leclerc and he was asked what the team means to him, the competitor reinforced his commitment.

“Ferrari is a family and a team that I have always loved and for which I have always dreamed of driving since I was a child, and that hasn’t changed at all since I joined the team in 2019. So, the passion remains the same,” he said.
“And, of course, the desire to win, and we want to win eventually, and I want to win. It’s been so many years, obviously, working with the team to try to get back to the top,” he added.
