The championship has held three rounds so far on the calendar – Australia, China, and Japan. And on every occasion, it was present on the podium: twice with Charles Leclerc and once with Lewis Hamilton – including the Briton’s first podium with the Italian team.
Therefore, despite still being slightly behind Mercedes, he is optimistic about the team – but revealed that the goals for Formula 1 this year are even greater.

“The goal is to get on the podium and win races. We have a performance deficit compared to Mercedes, that is evident, and in the part of the track where power is limited, it means we need to do a better job, we need to evolve,” he said.

“But overall, we are not that far away,” he added.
