NASCAR Brasil officially started its season with the first free practice this Friday (10), at the Autódromo Internacional de Santa Cruz do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul. Vitor Genz, who competes for Full Time in 2026, led the day with the new RiSE26. The driver recorded 1min29s128 at the end of this afternoon.

Thiago Camilo, also from Full Time, was only 0s0384 behind. The third best lap was by Gui Backes (AMattheis Vogel), with 1min29s583. Ricardo Zonta secured the fourth time, with 1min29s683. Rookie Murilo Rocha (Full Time) managed to finish the activity in fifth place, with 1min29s864.
Sixth position was occupied by another Full Time driver, Tito Giaffone. He achieved 1min30s218. Right behind came the duo Ricardo Maurício and Alex Seid, from Cavaleiro Sports, who secured 1min30s428. Allam Khodair, who is in his first season with AMattheis Vogel, finished seventh by a 0s003 difference to Maurício and Seid. Arthur Gama, another Cavaleiro driver, placed ninth with 1min30s649. Cacá Bueno (Team RC) closed the top-10 with 1min30s696.
