According to the portal RacingNews365, sources claim that speculations about changes at the top of the team’s technical department are “far from reality”.

The RB22 struggled in the first three races, with four-time champion Max Verstappen acknowledging car problems, but clearing the Red Bull Powertrains engine, produced in partnership with Ford, of blame. Furthermore, the departure of key names like Rob Marshall, Adrian Newey, Craig Skinner and, in the future, Gianpiero Lambiase, increasingly worries the team.
Pressure on Waché could decrease if the update package for the Miami GP delivers the expected gains, reducing the RB22’s excess weight and improving handling and overall performance. Red Bull leadership believes that Wache will be able to recover performance once the difficulties are resolved.

Waché has been at Red Bull since 2013, and maintains a good relationship with Laurent Mekies and the drivers, ensuring internal stability. His contract runs until the end of 2028.
