Yuki Tsunoda has not yet ruled out a full-time return to the Formula 1 grid. The Japanese driver revealed that he has been working hard to make this happen after his dismissal from Red Bull.

The driver is occupying the role of reserve driver for the Austrian team in the 2026 season after a quite complicated 2025 with the team. For this year, he was replaced by Isack Hadjar, while Arvid Lindblad was promoted to Racing Bulls.
Therefore, Tsunoda shared how determined he is to manage a return to the Formula 1 field. “I think showing my face, not only at Red Bull, but throughout the paddock, is quite important,” he told the F1 website.

“I’m not going to give up on driving in F1. Instead of going to other categories and racing… That is also good in part, because you stay sharper, but at the same time, you don’t really know what is happening in F1.”
