Murilo Rocha arrives in Curvelo (MG), between September 18 and 20, with the classification for the NASCAR Brazil playoffs within reach. The driver has 72 points, is in seventh place in the overall standings, and only needs to finish among the top 12 in the Minas Gerais stage to secure his spot in the season’s final tournament.

The situation, however, is not yet defined. The Curvelo stage closes the regular season and puts 75 points at stake, which keeps the fight for championship positions open. For Murilo, the weekend will also be important to maintain the good results he has been building in 2026.
The Sorocaba native leads the Challenge category and also appears in first place among the rookies of the year. After finishing 2025 as vice-champion of F4 Brazil, Murilo has been adapting to touring cars and currently holds a position ahead of important names in Brazilian motorsport in the overall standings.
In Curvelo, the challenge will be even greater with a race held on the oval circuit, the traditional format of NASCAR competitions. Murilo hopes to take advantage of the stage to return to fighting for victories and accumulate the points needed for the playoffs.

“We will race in Curvelo, on the oval circuit, and I hope to be competitive to fight for victories again. The Full Time team and I are doing a good job and now we will face an important stage for the championship, aiming to score more points for the playoffs. I think we can have another good weekend and I count on everyone’s support.”
The schedule starts on Friday, with shakedown, extra practice, and the first free practice. On Saturday, the drivers will have qualifying, which will be held in just four laps per car and will no longer include the Sprint Race. The two races take place on Sunday, the first in the morning and the second in the afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday activities will be broadcast on NASCAR Brazil’s official channels on social media.
