The circuit in Madrid is making its debut on the calendar in the 2026 season. After Friday’s (11) sessions, the team completed 101 laps, 51 with the British driver, who finished the day in 14th, and 50 with the French driver, who was ninth.

“It was an interesting first day in Madring; it’s a cool and fun track to drive – to me, it feels like a mix of Baku and Jeddah. FP1 was a bit challenging, but we made some changes to the car and took a big step forward in FP2, so I’m quite happy with the progress. Now I have in the car the same feeling I had in Monza, so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do tomorrow,” said Ollie.

Meanwhile, Estie commented that “the positive point is that we managed to feel the behavior of the new updates, much more than in Monza. There are many more corners, more sections where grip is the limiting factor and, at the moment, we don’t have that inconsistency between the cars, which is very positive, so we need to analyze this carefully. We will keep pushing; it was a very good day, so we need to maintain this pace. The track is extremely challenging in every aspect, but it’s very fun, and I’m really enjoying the experience.”
