Lewis Hamilton states that Ferrari has found the “right formula” in hand after finding all the pieces of the puzzle to rebuild the team in the Formula 1 season.

The seven-time champion has been quite vocal this year about all the changes he has gone through with Ferrari to challenge for the Constructors’ Championship. After 12 races, he is in second place with a 114-point deficit to Mercedes.
A change advocated by the Brit and enabled by Fred Vasseur was the change in Ferrari’s braking system, now using Carbon Industrie brake discs. Therefore, after a difficult 2025, Lewis sees the Maranello team much more synchronized.
“It’s a combination of many things. I think we made a lot of changes to the car, so it’s not just one isolated factor; it’s all the pieces of the puzzle. We moved a lot of things around; there were many changes, whether in engineering, processes, or the car design, which is obviously quite different in this new generation,” he said.

“But we made a lot of changes and I believe we are in a better situation because of that. I think we have great collaboration now. It took us a good amount of time to get in sync, but I believe we got there. We are moving in the right direction collectively, and the things I asked for ended up being implemented over time. I feel that now, with the results coming in, it’s proven that this works; I believe we found the right formula,” he continued.
“So now we are betting even more on this and continuing to evolve. Last year, one of the things I said was that we needed Ferrari to be the innovator, the one everyone would follow. And this year, we are the innovators. See, people are following our rear wing designs and exhaust system; so, I think we are really going in the right direction.”
“I think we are at an ideal moment. We just need to keep evolving from this base we have built,” he concluded.
