Arvid Lindblad caught attention on Friday of the Formula 1 in Zandvoort, by placing Racing Bulls in the top 10 of the Sprint classification, even competing for the first time in a session on the circuit. Yuki Tsunoda, who replaces Liam Lawson in the team this weekend, also had a performance considered positive by the team, which now works to seek more performance before the Sprint race and the qualifying session for the GP.

The team principal, Alan Permane, highlighted Lindblad’s result, after only one hour of free practice on the Dutch circuit. “Arvid had never driven here before, so putting the car in the top ten after just one hour of practice is impressive,” he said.
Lindblad finished SQ3 in tenth position. The young driver acknowledged the difficulties of his debut in Zandvoort, but evaluated positively the progress throughout the day: “I am very happy with my lap in SQ2, but not so satisfied with SQ3,” he said.
Tsunoda, in turn, finished 12th in the Sprint classification and highlighted that the rain in the morning, even if weak, made Friday more complicated: “The car is very different compared to previous years, especially in high-speed corners, so it was complicated at times, but I am happy with my result in the Sprint classification,” said the Japanese driver.

Permane assessed that the team can still extract more performance from the car before the next activities. According to him, it will be necessary to work especially on energy management overnight, aiming to put both drivers in Q3 in the Saturday qualifying session.
For Lindblad, another factor will be the weather behavior, since there is a possibility of rain during the Sprint race. The driver also highlighted the difficulty of overtaking in Zandvoort and stated that the team will have some points to review before the next session.
