Jamie Chadwick believes that Isack Hadjar has proven himself worthy of the seat alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull through the results of the first half of the 2026 Formula 1 season.

After the Hungarian round, the three-time W Series champion highlighted how the Frenchman has provided something the Austrian team has lacked in recent years: valuable data from both sides of the garage. After 11 rounds, the competitor is eighth in the standings, 41 points behind the four-time world champion.
“I think the fact that Max has a teammate like Isack, someone he can really benefit a bit more from the data and setup changes, is something very valuable,” he told Sky Sports F1.

“Mainly for the team as a whole, I believe they can lead the team in a direction that allows them to get representative data… [this season’s cars are] very different, and that allowed Isack to get closer; [but] he is, without a doubt, an incredible talent,” he continued.
“I would say that Liam Lawson and Sergio Perez certainly had a tougher time facing Max with the previous generation of cars,” he concluded.
