After having to face a very complicated period in his first year with Ferrari in 2025, he sees this championship as a complete turnaround. In 11 rounds, he won in Spain and climbed the podium five times, holding a 50-point deficit to leader Kimi Antonelli.
When asked how he would judge his first half of 2026, the seven-time F1 champion took a more humble stance. “A little above average, maybe,” he said.

When it comes to his title chances, Lewis chose not to make any predictions. “I’m thinking about just one race at a time. I just try to figure out how I can make the most of each weekend,” he said.
“That’s why I usually don’t think about how things will be ten races from now,” he added.
