Isack Hadjar stated that his next goal at Red Bull is to achieve a podium finish still in 2026. The French driver believes that the second half of the 2026 Formula 1 championship could mark his first arrival among the top three with the brand’s main team.

When evaluating his performance so far, Hadjar admitted that he faced difficulties in the first races but highlighted the recent improvement: “It started a bit complicated. In the first races, I feel like I was doing the easy things very wrong and the hard things, like being fast, keeping the pace, and not falling too far behind Max, very well.”
“Since the last races, I think I found some consistency, and the team fixed some problems that make our life easier. It’s much easier when the car is reliable. When it performs well, it’s easy to achieve results, I won’t lie,” he highlighted.
With the second half of the season about to start, Hadjar hopes to turn the progress into an even better result. “It’s good, but at the same time I would love to have a race where I could really fight for a real podium, and that is the next goal.”

Even without a podium, the driver has received praise for his performance in 2026, especially for the progress compared to Max Verstappen’s former teammates.
Red Bull is in fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship after the first half of the season. The team has not yet won any race in 2026, although Verstappen has already achieved four podiums.
