Charles Leclerc was chosen by fans as the driver of the day at the Belgian Grand Prix of Formula 1. The Monegasque received 17.7% of the votes after taking Ferrari to second place at Spa-Francorchamps.

This was the second time this season that Leclerc earned recognition in the official F1 vote. During part of the race, the driver even entertained the possibility of winning for the second consecutive round, after the victory previously obtained at Silverstone.

Leclerc, however, did not find enough pace in his Ferrari to contain the advance of Kimi Antonelli. The Mercedes driver overtook the Monegasque, who still delivered a standout performance and secured P2 at the Belgian circuit.

Antonelli finished second in the popular vote, with 13.8%, just 0.4 percentage points ahead of Isack Hadjar. The driver received 13.4% of the votes and was in third position on the list released after the race.

Max Verstappen appeared next, with 12.8%, while Lando Norris completed the top five with 11.6%. Leclerc ended the voting with a 3.9 percentage point lead over Antonelli, confirming the fans’ preference after his performance at Spa.
